What a pretty card!
I wonder how Susan got the lettering of her "thanks" to look so nice (her lettering always looks so nice). Did she use a computer font and a light table to trace it with the embossing marker?

Hi Melanie!
I asked Susan herself, for an answer to your question, and here is her reply:

Hi Melissa,

Thanks for sending the photo. Using a printed computer font and light table is a quick and easy way to get your lettering nearly perfect, and I do that all the time! I used my own handwriting for “thanks”, and I do the same thing with my handwriting—I’ll write it first, making sure the size will fit just right in the space I have on my project, then use a light table to trace it on the project. This takes the guess work out of it, and I make fewer mistakes. If you’re using cardstock or a dark paper that you can’t see through to trace on it (or if you don’t have a light table), I trace my word from the computer print out (or write it in my own handwriting) onto tracing paper. Turn the piece of tracing paper over, and use the side of your pencil point to add pencil lead over the back of the word. Turn it right side up again, place on your project, and hold in place with a sticky note. Use your pencil to write over the word once more, then remove the tracing paper. The word will be transferred to your project, and you can then go over it with embossing pen or whatever type of ink you’re using. Any excess pencil marks can be erased.

Hope this helps :) Susan

Thanks for the lettering tip Susan! :)
I used to use the pencil-lead-on-the-back transfer system before I got my light table.

I have not used my lightbox for a long time, I guess I need to dig it out and start playing!

Be sure and watch today's webisode if you haven't already. This card and several other creations are on it. They are such enablers I need to find a job just so I can have the $$ to buy everything they show (because I want all of it).
