Hey Y'all... I know there was a thread about the products that we all wished PW carried but I have looked everywhere and I can't seem to find the thread.... anyways.....
I had to make a swap card the last few days and I dearly wanted some of the peel off gold letters to spell out what I needed to say....
I WISH PAPER WISHES CARRIED SOME DAZZLE ALPHABET SHEETS!! ( Tiny letters )
I bought a sheet long ago that had the gold alphabets on it but I haven't seen anything like it anywhere else...
I needed to spell out AUTUMN for my card and I didn't have the letters...
So PW are ya listening???
God bless

I would love to be able to buy plain envelopes in the size for PW cards ( don't remember the numbers!). I make my own cards out of cardstock and I like that size, but then I can't find envelopes to fit. Are you listening, Paulette??? BTW I love everything in your catalogs. Katie

Katie, what sizes are your cards? I buy the invitation envelopes from Wal-mart, because I cut and fold my own cards also.... I think these will work for you...

Nyoka---the cards I make are 6 1/2 x 5, just like the ones PW sells. I do this size because I use some of the patterns on the card-making dvds. I have not been able to find an envelope at Wal Mart that size. What size envys do you buy---maybe I could order them from a bigger store. Thanks for the suggestion. Katie

I have bought the invitation envys and cut the cards to fit, but sometimes the patterns don't work out right. Thanks again. K.

The envelopes in A7 size work great. Try www.clearbags.com. They have relatively inexpensive envelopes and in lots of colors. I bought some red ones last year for my Christmas cards.

Great website! Thanks, Nancy. I'd been wondering where to purchase those clear protective bags for cards!

I LOVE the clear bags site and have ordered a lot from them in the past.

Yes - I haven't found anyone else that will sell in small quantities (like under 1000!)

I wish paper wishes would carry stamps with verses on them. More than just "happy birthday". I recently had to make an anniversary card and I could not find a decent verse, not even on the quotes CD.

I wish they had some fairy and whimsical type stuff as long as we are mentioning it.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A COUPLE OF SYMPATHY STAMPS. THOSE AND ANNIVERSARY ONES ARE BOTH HARD TO FIND. FAIRY AND WHIMSICLE STUFF WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE TOO.

Hmm? I haven't looked at the catalog or website section lately for dazzles. I know they've added recently. About a year ago, I bought in both silver and gold petite "messages". I've about used all the silver. There are tiny hearts, stars, flowers, medallions, and such. Some of the words are: peace, love, moment, create, imagine, bliss, joy, etc.

Does PW have a set like that for sympathy, get well, or anniversary/wedding?

More often than not, I mail my cards in the small bubble envelopes. I don't want them to get damaged in the mail. I order them from my office supply dealer for our business.

I would like to see number and alpahabet templates. I was trying to make something using larger numbers the other day and I had to free hand it. I don't do very well drawing block numbers, or letters for that matter. I do have a cricut, but it wasn't worth all the effort for 3 numbers.

oh now, that's a really good idea Kim!!!

I've been looking for a template with letters & numbers on it. I'd love clear stamps with sentiments on them. I have happy birthday & congrats but those don't always work for the card I'm working on. Knowing PW listens to their customers & that they read the posts I'm sure that they'll be working on our needs. Judi

I totally agree with an alphabet template or maybe even a calligraphy trainer (if that makes sense) to allow you to do some lovely Elizabethan hand writing. I don't have a steady hand so that would greatly.

I don't have a steady hand either so I would really benefit from that too Fab.

I'm always interested in classes on folding techniques too.

I've bought some of the flower soft and am HOOKED. I LOVE IT. I hope Paper Wishes starts carrying other colors. I would LOVE to see a Christmas Green, a Sparkley White, and a Christmas red for - you guessed it - Christmas cards. What lovely wreaths this would make! I would also like to see some sort of brown/tan type color that could be used for cat, dog, and teddy bear fur! (I got some black and LOVE it on a panda digi-stamp I have!)

My favorite (well, right now anyway, LOL!) is the "Vintage Christmas" color...

I am thoroughly enjoying my new oriental stamps!!! I would to see a small panda stamp created by Paper Wishes to use with it-a nice one, rather than a cute baby style stamp. Thanks for listening!

I would like a panda bear mini stamp set. I love pandas so I'd be first in line to buy it. Also any thing for Christmas cards. Judi

An entire set of panda stamps is a wonderful idea!

I need paper to do my college album, and not cutesy grade school stuff (I'll reserve that for my son). Think Ivy League, even though I didn't go to a big state or private school. I'll check with my college's online book store to see if they have anything, but usually it's only the big schools with products available.

I wish someone carried acrylic (clear) stamps that say "Happy Anniversary". I can find sheets of holiday related stamps or birthday stamps. But I can find no anniversary collections. I can't even find anniversary stickers.... I have 3 married children and I love making special cards for them, but I'm getting really tired of the one old Happy Anniversary rubber stamp I have...

Has anyone else had any luck finding anniversary stamps/stickers?

MrsTmuzik53

I had difficulty finding Anniversary stamps, too. Every other week I visited Hobby Lobby only to find the same one or two stamps... so... I took some wedding ones and incorporated them on anniversary cards.....for example, the stamps that say, "Once upon a time..." and the other that says, "And they lived happily ever after" - I put a photo of the couple from their wedding day on the front with the first saying, and on the inside, I put a recent photo of them now, with the second stamp.
I also made one with music embossing background... (cuttlebug) and "Happy Anniversary" on the front, and on the inside, I computer printed, "Still making music after all these years!"
sometimes you just have to computer print out your own sayings...... and it allows you to be more personal, too.
But I'm with you - if you think about it, there are as many anniversaries as there are weddings, so we do need more stamps to fit that occasion as well.
Good Luck in your search for more stamps!

Again, I need Thomas the Tank Engine for my obsessed little one, including seasonal Thomas "scenes".

I'd like some number dazzles in lots of bright colors, not just silver and gold.

And I'm currently loving Memory Box products, and the dies from Cheery Lynn Designs! Wish they'd carry their stuff too, as I'd much rather order from PW!!

Putting in another idea for PW products!! I WISH PW would carry some of the dies for cutting swirls and scrolls... Some of the Marianne dies for Doilys and Flowers...
Thanks

On that note, I'd like dies to make borders kind of like what Queen & Co. has, just would rather be paper/glitter/glimmer/textured paper and not always felt. It can get too lumpy because I love borders.

I really love the new jewel dazzles and last night I was working on a card and thought, "boy some black jewel dazzles would be the perfect touch!". So, can we add another color, like black?

Carol J

I like the idea of black dazzles. I use black stickles and those really add a cool luster to a card and I think black dazzles would do the same.

Yea! I agree on the black dazzles! I use a good bit of black in my Vintage cards so these would be good!!

I really like the chain border stickers you carry - like these (http://www.paperwishes.com/products/7510510000). I use them A LOT on cards. I would REALLY like to see you carry another set of border stickers from the same company. They are much better for handling curved lines and look like this:

I really like the copper mirror-like finish I got recently in my monthly kit. Would love to see more in that type finish. And, more CATS! lol

I wish the sheer flowers [not paper flowers] were offered in other colors, other than the package of brown, blue and white. I have many many times thought to myself that I would love to have some in other colors...... and here, two years later, that is still a wish I catch myself muttering to myself.

Also, how about a book of ideas compiled by PW fans? Perhaps one for cards, one for page layouts, and one for all other projects. So many creative minds!!! Of course the submissions would need to be approved by PW staff, but If a book were available I would certainly be one to buy it! And if by chance one of my ideas were to be included, all the more reason to purchase the book! LOL!

Connie, sometimes you can color the white or light colored flowers using ink or spritz inks etc. I know this works for the paper flowers... I guess for the fabric flowers it would have to be a dye based ink for it to stay... Just an idea!

I find myself needing some jewel tones paper. Perhaps it's time for a new Use 'Em for Anything book?

I love jewel tones too, Jodi; great idea.

I am wishing for more masculine type of stamps. Paper is easy to choose, but not the stamps. I use the masculine set quite a bit and some of the trees are quite useful, but I would like more choices. I have 5 adult sons and 2 grandsons - none of them like hearts and flowers.
