Scrapbooking Layouts

Talking about card ideas reminds me of something similar that I do that makes my scrapbooking easier.

I have folders on my computer labeled "one picture," two pictures," "three picture," etc. Also "dual page layouts".

I take pictures or scans of pages I've done where I particularly like the layout, and put them in the appropriate folder on my computer based on how many pictures are in the layout. I also add others I come across in various places.

Then when I'm struggling with a layout where I know I need to fit in a certain number of pictures, or where I know I want a dual page layout, I can look through my samples and get inspiration.

For example, here are some pictures that might go in my "One Picture," "Two Pictures," and "Three Pictures" folders, respectively:

Good idea! I have a notebook where I keep sketches, but I haven't kept anything like this on the computer.

Wow ... I ma nowhere near that organized yet. But fabulous idea. ( and I absolutely love that crocheted baby bonnet. )
