Maybe some of you can tell me where and what brand of white markers are good. I have simply not had any luck finding any that really write good! I have tried all kinds brands. I ordered some Galaxy and they are awful. :(

My favorite pen so far is Uni-ball Signo. It is pigment ink UM-153 white. I found it at boutique scrap shop by accident and I love how smooth it writes.

Have you tried the Martha Stewart brand? I really want to buy the opaque ones that include the white, but haven't yet.
I have the galazy too and found that if you take the cap off the end they work better and every once in a while I have to blow to get the ink flowing. Once that is done, they work great for a while....
I have a "Gelly Roll" medium white pen I use but find I need to go over the writing to get it to show up nice. It will be interesting to hear what pens others use and how well (or not well LOL) they do.

I went to a scrapbook gathering a few years ago and they were all talking about a new white pen put out by Sharpie. Everyone was raving about them. I've never been able to find any locally, and I'm not sure if they even make them anymore. Anyone know about these?

I agree with Kissedby2.....the Uni-ball Signo pigment ink UM-153 white is the best I have tried. Believe me......I have tried many different kinds of white ink pens. This one writes the smoothest on dark paper. The ink flows really evenly......
try and check out www.jetpens.com..........this where I ordered mine

I have used white gel pens and have never been satisfied with the coverage of them. I would have to go over the writing a couple of times to get it to show up. I would hate it when it got clogged up or just wouldn' write even.
THEN I got the Sharpie poster-paint "marker". It covers the first time. I found mine in the art department of a chain craft store.
If you buy one, for journaling, be sure to get the "extra fine" point. Otherwise it will be a blunt point like a regular marker. That also is not a bad thing (I have one of those too). The "extra fine" point is shorter than most markers (just as fat) but only about 4 1/2" long. You shake it up to mix it (a little ball inside) and test on scratch paper then GO! Yes, it is acid free!

Sharpie marker huh? I know this isn't the one I was talking about, but I think I will have to check it out.

I do like my sharpies in black as they never seem to lose their 'pointiness'. Didn't realise they've made a white one.
I bought 'Daisy White' pen from CTMH and it works great.
