Don't hate me I'm shy ! :) My first live Webcast !

I've been following Cynthia Gagen for a while and her live webcast. We became friends and tentatively I've been showing on my webcam my paper crafting and built up my confidence.

Now she has a live webcast show ' Come2Chat (http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_205381339477144) ' three times a week (Mon-Wed-Fri) at noon and since I've invested in a new auto-focus webcam recently I thought I would give it a go today in making a card live under an hour.

I used Claudine Hellmuth book The scrapbooker's Creativity Kit to spur my creativity asking the people who were present in the chat room to pick a number and I would draw two cards: one for colour, the other for the theme.

I've also used the HOTP Cardmaker's Earth Palette and the Instant Art pad.

As Cynthia was showing how she was getting with her collage I would cut in every 10 minutes to show my progress. I was a bag of nerves but I did it ! :D

They seem to like me so I'll be doing another livewebcast this coming Friday 18th and will show how to make paper cupcake using a HOTP template.

Anyway if people are still happy with me, I'll have my own show on the first Friday of each month, so I'm very excited about this ! So I would be tickled pink if you were to participate.

You will be asked a username (Just use your first name or even better the username you use in this forum so I can spot you straight away). Click on enter the room. You DON'T need to have a webcam or microphone. You can participate typing to the others in the chat room whilst in the middle of the screen you will see a mini window where the live video will show.

I'll be doing these impromptu cardmaking/papercrafting every Wednesday and Friday. But my first show on my own (Yikes) should be on April the 1st ( and no it's not a April's fool ) this monthly show will be at 9pm Eastern.

I'm excited and also very scared ! :eek:

Thank you guys, I'll on for a few skits of five minutes tomorrow at noon (Eastern time) showing how to use the cupcake templates from HOTP :), the original crowd are excited about this. I hope their excitement won't wane after they realise they have to trace and cut ! :) LOL

The Come2Chat are not taped as it's a drop in sort of shows where 5 of us will show what we've made and everyone is welcome to also show they craft creations using their webcam (that's totally optional by the way).

The monthly show I'll be doing will be taped and archived. My very own first show will be on the 1st of April (no April's fool lol) at 9pm Eastern ! :)

Hi Fab. I was able to view here at work. even tho I had to have the Volume off and i could not hear you. I did not know that it poped on and off on to other shows. Great Card ,Triangle card very neat, post instructions on you blog maybe?

Regular show is once a month (first friday) at 9pm Eastern. Come2Chat is a three time weekly show where people come in and show stuff about being creative, be it paper craft, decors or as it happened today gardening. Those Ladies are my friends as we keep in contact daily so it's really a fun show where we all meet up and show what we've done and other people with a webcam are welcome to show what they created. I really helped me come out of my shell and so have other people who have been following the shows. It's very relaxed and we take it in turns to show what we're up to. I really appreciate you visiting. :)
