This is the CARD SWAP CALL to participate in the JUNE Card Swap. June's theme is to make a card using a papier tole technique.

As always, make sure the majority of what you use comes from PW. To sign up for this swap, please send a PM (Private Message) to Swaps Albums no later than May 31 with "June Card Swap" in the subject line. The partner list will be added to this thread shortly after that, and you will have until June 30 to send your completed project to your swap partner.

As a heads up for future swaps, here are the upcoming swap themes. Note that separate swap call messages will be posted and you will sign up for these on those swap calls each month as usual. This is just to give you an idea of what is coming, so that you can start working on your project or in case you want to order something special from PW to use to complete your project.

July – Make a Pop-up card

August - Mystery Card swap (on this one, you will send the components to make a card to your swap partner, and your swap partner makes a card using only what you sent)

September – Well, what else, since this one is due to be mailed by September 30? Make a Halloween card!!

October - Make a card that uses PAISLEY on the front

I got a lovely package from Carol today - gorgeous card and some cool 'extras' too! Thank you Carol, I just love the card and the extras too...and you even carried the theme over into your little note card, tooooo cute!!! What paper did you use on the card? I have to have some of that, it's sooo pretty!

Carol, I have your card all done. Just have to get some stamps. The post office shuts down for lunch the same time I go to lunch so it is a pain in the you know what when you need stamps.

I was just now able to check my mail from yesterday and I received my card from Kim. I just absolutely love the card, I haven't seen this paper tole before and I love unicorns . Thank you much. Here is a picture. I also received some extras.

Thanks Jen, glad you like it. All the kitties but 2 are my husband's. Ok maybe the new baby striped kitten too. But all the rest are his!! The cat paper toile is wonderful. I like the fact that it is foil too!

Jen, please accept my apology for not posting your beautiful card sooner!! It's been very busy at work (we own a heating & Air Conditioning businesss) and I've had a stomach virus for over a week now... so not fun :(

Bootsie, have you received your card?

I'm on day 9 of the stomach bug. This thing is a stinker! I've got swollen glands in my left upper arm, I've had fever, to go along with a fibro flare, and work has been busy, busy. (I'm always thankful when our business is busy though). I'm downright worn out! LOL Guess that explains why I have barely moved off the couch today huh? :p Don't think I'm going to either! hahaha! I do believe the puppies and are just going to take us a nap!

Yipee, I got my beautiful card from Nancy today. It's done up really pretty with crocheted lace, dazzles & the focal is a gorgeous lady surrounded by iris. Thank you for the lovely card & the baggie full of fibre & ribbon.
