Cards & More With Dazzles Book

I just placed yet ANOTHER order from Paper Wishes - and it included the Cards & More With Dazzles Book. Does anyone have it yet and what do you think of it? I have all of the dazzles and thought the book would be good too . . . Please let me know what you think of it.

WOW! Thanks for sending that link - Can't believe you get all that for $10 - that's unreal. You just can't beat their prices - and when they bundle things, you KNOW it's a great deal. Okay - me gotta have - onto my wish list. Thanks for sending that. We'll be looking to you for your reviews. ;)

Speaking of getting things from PW - My ultimate card package just arrived - God is SO good - my DH stepped out for about 20 minutes - - just long enough for the postman to deliver it. I'm really not being sneaky - wouldn't do that. It just saves me from having to explain WHY I NEED MORE STUFF!!! He's going to the cabin tomorrow for a couple days - I can't wait 'til then to open it up and play. =D

Yes, I won the Cards & More with Dazzles book in the message board drawing and am anxiously awaiting its arrival! It looks like it contains a lot of paper and diecuts. The mailman needs to bring it and the new summer catalog soon! I'm waiting...
I will show it to Heather when I get it so she can drool over it.

I just got my Cards & More with Dazzles book about an hour ago! :) Thanks HOTP/PW! It was delivered to my back door, so it was probably by UPS (thanks UPS man!).

It has ideas for 12 cards. It also has (the "more" part) two 8x8 layouts, an 8x8 Sara's Surfaces album cover, and a Sara's Surfaces pizza box with info on making a fold-out accordian card to fit inside the box.

It contains 14 sheets of printed paper, 4 sheets of vellum and two sheets which contain a total of 30 heavy die-cuts (like in their Instant Card Art books). The papers are 8.5 x 11 in size and are ones I haven't seen before. They are beautiful! Most papers are feminine-looking, but a few could be masculine, with brown rectangles and stripes. A few have pretty borders too. However, some of the card ideas use the same papers, which means I'll have to buy another book to be able to make all the cards they show. Actually, I may have to buy more than one book since they are 8.5 x 11 papers and I scrap that size. It's been forever since I've seen new papers in that size!

The unused white paper around the die-cuts have little Dazzles shapes printed on them that show which Dazzle is used on which die-cut. The book also shows how to cover a card with paper, how to use the Dazzles, and how to use the transfer sheet with the Dazzle "innies." So the book is user-friendly. The list of Dazzles needed for the book are found with the product description of the book at PW; they do not come with the book.

I'll be playing with my Dazzles this weekend! Our family, including my Dad and youngest nephew, is going to an all-day crop. The guys wil be working on their pics from their trip to Israel and Egypt a few months ago.

That means I should get mine. I'm really curious as to what all I will get. It's probably just as well that it doesn't come for a few days so I can get this big shaped book done. It's consuming me.

Yes, I was a message board contest winner and won the Cards & More with Dazzles plus the Dazzles used in the book. So you should be getting yours soon too! :)

I will play with the Dazzles this weekend and take photos of the finished cards to show here.

This book is on my order list for next week with another order for all the dazzles. I really enjoy working with Dazzles and the Dazzle sayings also.
