tHAT IS JUST TOO CUTE! Love the papers, the entire idea. Okay - now what adhesive did you use to put them together? This looks like a really fun project. Thanks so much for sharing! How did your house viewing go yesterday? Wow - time off work - AND a squeaky clean house to boot. What could be better??

:) hi. house viewing went OK, but they weren't in a position to buy cos they haven't sold !! I was annoyed really.

Glad you like the CD cases - used Bostik ? a clear strong glue to stick them together - made the little Layouts inside the clear boxes first and then just stuck them together - the bottom is another cd case too.

What a great idea. My kids have tons of art and craft supplies and I recently found a bunch of old software disk that need to be cleaned out. I'll have to give this project a try. Thanks for sharing.

What a clever idea. Must give this a try sometime! :)
The little layouts are protected from dust and the cat, yet can be easily seen (unlike an album where you must turn the pages).

I must fess-up tho, that this wasn't my idea, one of the girls on another website/forum did some, hers were really stunning, i copied and this was my first attempt......................I've had a thought too about making 'wall art' from them, just got to find a way of hanging them etc.

Thanks for looking.

Glad you like the CD cases - used Bostik ?

Not familiar with that name - but I bet I could find it online. That's quite all right about getting the idea from somewhere else - I'd be willing to bet that 99% of what everyone does has it's roots somewhere else. ;)

Cantstopstampin did I understand that that is made from clear CD holders? WOW!! Did you just glue the paper and pictures in the case and then glued the 4 cases together then put a 5th one on the bottom. I really liked yours. You are accomplishing two things for the desk, a picture and a holder for different items.

Oh what a clever idea and a good recycle to boot. Hmmm, I could see these as some nice Christmas gifts for those relatives that we want to give something but not over the top. TFS!

What a great idea--
as if I have nothing else to do, now you got me wanting to make one of these too-- Mine wouldn't compare to yours though, will you make me one?
