12 days/rudolph/cookie recipe exchange

I think in all the spamming nonsense the last few days I inadvertently deleted my own status update post about these! can't find it in any case so starting over.

1. ALL MAILED TODAY!!!

2. Here is what I had listed for everyone and what I mailed (so I hope to heck I have it right, LOL!!) .. I've noted your COST which needs to be added to whatever POSTAGE is showing on your package and that is the total you need to send me!! The cost is exactly what I paid for the paper 'binders' and the plastic sheet inserts and mailing envelopes for the books, and the mailing envelopes for the cookie books. No other cost on the cookie books as I had a bunch of what they are in leftover from a long ago project and glad to put them to use.

The breakdown is: Rudolph book: 0.41 for the paper binder, .75 for the plastic inserts, $1.89 for the mailing envelope = $3.05

12 days book: 0.41 for the paper binder; .90 for the plastic inserts; $1.89 for the mailing envelopes = $3.20

Cookie book only participants: $1.19 for the mailing envelope

I received mine yesterday. It was quite mangled, but nothing was damaged on the inside. The cookie recipes look yummy and the 12 DOC is so much fun!! Awesome job everyone!!!!!!!

OK, I mailed all the packages the 10th so now I'm REAALLLLLY worried about the ones to Robin, Rhonda M and Patti' and even a bit worried about Bootsie's too although Canada may take a bit longer -- on the other hand Michelle in Ireland got hers in five days.

ya it should have been here by now, for me in California. I will let you all know if it shows up. I still have not gotten Last Oct. card swap from Michelle that is lost in the mail also. don't we just love our mailing system. can you Post a picture of it so i can at least see what every one got?

Bootsie, yes, everything was mailed on the 10th...

I hate that some haven't received their packages yet - I think this is the first time I've ever had a package I've sent go astray in the postal system - although I did get a card from friends in The Netherlands 13 months after they mailed it last year...Fingers crossed the missing ones show up today!

In the meantime (although of course not nearly as good as having the real thing) pics are all in the albums now:

Why don't we each go into the albums and put a comment on our page saying we made it? It will save Sam a lot of work. I did my Rudolph page already.

I'm afraid you will have to do that, as I didn't "do" either book so I don't have a reference as to who did what, and I can remember who did some of them but not all...
If you want to send me which pages you did, I can rename the photos then....

HOLY COW Patti - it took from 11/10 to 11/23 to reach you - you know, I think something is up at your local post office...I mail out on average 20-30 packages a month and I have NEVER had one take that long, no matter where it was going...and I've never had one go astray either (knock on wood!!).

But SO GLAD you got it.

Now hoping Rhonda M. (BluePoohBear75) and Robin (RobnC) confirm theirs arrived also!!!!

Has anyone tried any of the recipes? We tried the pumpkin ones last week. Very tasty - I like my cookies a little more chewy, rather than cake-y, but the flavor was very good! I would not have thought to put butterscotch with pumpkin, but it totally works!

By Nyoka. is that the whole receipe? it just seems the 3 ingredients would melt and run all over the place. or is there flour and such to go into it? i looked on the back thinking there was more ingredients
