I know we have briefly discussed quilling, and I have now watched the Webisode on this. I had no idea it was that easy! I still don't know if I will pick it up as another hobby, but it sure is pretty. If you haven't seen the Webisode, check it out here (http://www.paperwishes.com/webisodes/?page=high&id=40).

Wow, they made it look so easy. I just looked at a starter kit for Quilling this week. It makes me want to try it.

I have to share this, as I think it's funny. This morning when I was getting the link to the Webisode, it started to play. Before I knew it, my hubby was standing behind me watching it. I left for work, and he was still watching! I can't see him actually doing this, but it's kinda funny!

I think quilling appeals to people who always end up rolling pieces of paper in their hands: ticket stubs, banknotes, leaflet etc.....:D

Your hubby must have thought I could do that !

My husband tries to do challenges with me. I will have to post one of his cards. It's the funniest thing because he tries but he is not artistic at all- creative, yes- but not artistic.

Heather's husband does some origami with dollar bills. Last weekend we took him out for a belated bday meal; he took the money for the tip and folded them into hearts. The waitress had a "love"ly tip! ;) ha ha

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Yes, he does Origami, and quite frequently will leave a folded tip. :)

HOTP does have one card kit, and it might be in Webisode, that has a origami Hawaiian shirt. I couldn't figure out that one at all. I haven't watched the Webisode tho. Maybe I will have to have dh help me with that.

Heather is talking about the webisode on the Folded Shirt Card, which aired back in October during HOTP's first Week of Webisodes.

The link for low bandwith is: www.paperwishes.com/webisodes/?page=low&id=165
and the link for high bandwidth is www.paperwishes.com/webisodes/?page=low&id=165.

I saw the webisode but haven't tried the shirt card yet, although it's cute. Susan even made a Santa suit with it this idea, complete with Sparkle Fibers for the white trim!

Too cute! I've made this card for my SIL and it really is easy. Just watch the video over and over again. It is also a pretty quick card that looks like you spent alot of time on it.

Fab, love Santa card, I may make these for my Christmas Card this year.
