We all love to share on this MB, and I thought I would share a product/site that I dearly love and use quite often when making fun things for Christmas; or anything to do with children. There are things on here for everyone and any interest.

What is it? It's clipart to the extreme. They call it 'clipart' I think for lack of a more suitable name. Once you get there and finally check out what it is, and what you can do with it, you'll thank me.

The FREE browser download you get when you join, becomes your giant file folder on your computer. Everytime you purchase a set, you download it and it automatically goes to your free browser. Open a Word document (I actually prefer Microsoft Publisher - if any of you have Microsoft Office - it's IN there.) you click and drag one of your images from your new browser into an open document, and you can do amazing things with it. Go to Community, Albums and Pictures and check out my Sugar and Spice baby album. The artwork throughout the album is from PcCrafters. Better known as "Hugware". You can use this art as beautifully as it's hand painted by the artist, or you can switch modes within your browser to just print out a sketch and color it yourself - very much like a stamp. You can manipulate it to any size you would like.

The only thing you cannot do with Hugware is duplicate it to re-manufacture and sell as your own art. Otherwise, you are free to use it in anyway you wish. For $4.95, you'll get at least 20-30 images in that file, as well as paper backgrounds to use if you wish. Click one you like, then click on "Preview", and it will show you all the art that's contained in that particular set. The colors stay true when you print them. In my opinion, it's a papercrafters dream come true. There's nothing to 'join', it's not a kit of the month (although you can sign up for that if you wish), just sign up for their newsletter for new product alerts, and at least download your FREE browser and welcome pack that gives you a TON of artwork to get started with for FREE!!!! Gee - did I say FREE??? The download instructions are extremely simple, but if you are really technically challenged to the extreme, this might not be for you.

Check it out - it can't hurt to look, right? I have a list of my favorite artists that I tend to gravitate to, but you can also search by themes. There's also projects to do using this software. So check it out!!!! Remember - the browser download is free, and it comes pre-loaded with 50 very cute images to start. If you're a cardmaker, don't pass this up. ;)

ha ha ha - nope - I WISH I could get commission... But it's really terrific software and SO versatile. Very very few people even know about it, and it's from Provo Craft, so how can you go wrong there? I know the artwork is original because I am very familiar with a lot of the contributing artists from my painting career. Between online subscriptions and artwork, I'm just going to have to upgrade my external HD.

Love it but I'm still a little confused how this works. So once you load the sft wre and the sampler (which by the way is so cute and love the blk/white feature) do they send you something or notify you there is new stuff out there for you to look at?

Love this site. I have been a PCHug Club Member since February of 2006 and it has become an addiction too!!! I love to collect all of their goodies!

I lean toward Susan Seals and Laurie Furnell - - but look at all of them!

It is nice that once you buy a set, you always have access to them . . . I need to use more of the graphics and am going to challenge myself to do so!

You can go online anytime and check what's new and it will show up that way - check it at least once a week.

They will send you notice once a week or so of new art that's been posted IF you sign up for their newsletter. Plus in the newsletter, they sometimes give you links to projects that have been made - with complete instructions - on what people are doing with them. And Lori Furnell is definitely one of my favorites! The more you use it, the more stuff you find to use it on!!! I'm currently using some of the paper backgrounds to create my own chipboard embellies. WHAT FUN! I don't EVEN have a clue how much there is available for you - but like Mrscleanhead said, once you download something, it stays in your account to download again whenever you'd like. Very helpful if you have more than one computer, or want to burn it to a CD. YOu can manipulate the artwork into ANY size you need. Now not ALL of the artwork is availble to be converted into sketch format - but you would know if you had that option by looking on your browser after you get it. Also - wanted to mention for all the digital people out there, you can download this software in a PNG file format as well as MAC for MAC users. If you download it in PNG format - you can load it into your photo editing software! Your success with this software is going to depend a lot on how familiar you are navigating through your word processing programs on your computer.
