Please post what you will be doing on NSD (National Scrapbook Day) May 2.

I've been invited to a big all day scrapbook crop party at the LSS (Local Scrapbook Store). Can't wait! Mom and daughter run it and they always have great food and plenty of games and give aways. I was there yesterday and she said a HUGE order was coming in Wed. and she would have it all out for a great day of shopping---lots of new stuff from CHA!! WHOO HOOO.

I'll be going to the movies with my husband to see the new X-Men orgins movie. Can't wait! But I would like to get atleast one layout done LOL!!

I didn't know that it was NSD - (blush) but now that I do, I am hoping to have a scrapbooking day all to myself - do nothing more than scrap scrap scrap.

I'm planning some scrapping for NSD. Getting my pix organized and my scraproom organized in advance. Also planning to visit my favorite scrapbooking websites that day. Really looking forward to the day!

Not sure if I will be doing anything scrapping wise, as my son, my dad and I are doing a presentation at our church on Saturday on our trip in February to Israel, and will be getting ready for that. Maybe Sunday tho... I hope.:D

Ode to National Scrapbooking DayThe First Saturday of May
is National Scrapbooking Day
So it's time to make your plans
for what you'll do with your hands

Tell your friends you will show
a scrapbook tale's no tale of woe
But one of great celebration
telling stories from relations.

There's romance and there is fable,
come and do what you are able
As you tell your family's story
all for love and not for glory.

In an album, for good measure,
you will see each family treasure,
Or create a fitting tribute
to loved ones gone before.

Take the time to tell your nation
family stories give foundation

Naaah I didn't write it!
It came from the LSS that I am going to for the crop---she doesn't remember where she found it. But I thought I would share it with you all..Nice isn't it?
