I had planned (as there is a crafting day on the TV today) - to sit and watch, maybe a little spend here and there :) and do a bit of scrapping) unfortunately DD wants me to take her out to her interview for a job, then up to the town for clothes shopping - then I have food shopping to do, walk the dog - do you think I MIGHT even get an hour to craft today?
I hope so.

After church, I will be getting ready for my 3 big days this next week at a huge scrapbook convention. Need to start packing. And I hope to finish a card I started yesterday. Just need Melanie's help on something. And hope to wrk on a Mother's Day card too.
Happy crafting everyone! :)

I think we'll be staying home today. I want to try and scrapbook today. I have a retirement card to make for my son's Catholic School principal, so I really need to get started on that. I have the idea all set, just need to make it. AND (I almost forgot) I have to make a gift bag for my Mom's Motherday gift. I picked her up the PPDU cart when they were on sale.:)

I was going at full steam for NSD yesterday and I can't just stop! I can't wait to get my hands on those supersized leaf brads from the new PW catalog! I just fell in love with them. I'm not sure what to even buy for Mother's Day. We don't have the same taste in anything. Any other grandmother would appreciate an album about her grandchildren. Not that woman. She thinks albums are space-hoggers and dust collectors. Maybe I'll do a page and stick it in a frame. She can tolerate wall pictures.

Ah Dee Dee - has grandmother not heard of 'it's the thought that counts!'
Well I have just about got back and had a sandwich for lunch and now thinking what I can do.
Although I do need to make MIL a birthday card so better get that done first.
See you later.

Craft day today on QVC but I'm taping the whole on my V+ box (read Tivo) so I can skip the dull moments. I thought I spotted some HOTP Dazzles but I'm not sure.

Dee Dee, that's got to be hard. Would she like a brag book that she can put in her purse?

I have just made this 'kind of exploding box out of a sheet of 12x12' it still has to have all the elements added - it's as a Birthday Card for a friend of mine who LOVES the garden and flowers - the flowers in the middle as the lid is lifted remain standing up as they are on acetate stems.............can't wait to get it finished now, but her birthday isn't until August to see her face as she lifts the lid as she loves my scrapping stuff....................

So Fab, did you buy any stuff on QVC?

Hi Heather. NO I havne't b0ught anything today on QVC - haven't been overly excited, I'm afraid - just watching Anna Griffin tho, I do love her stuff - her patterns and her tote bag - gorgeous - but it's nearly £50 I think of the stash I could buy for that so haven't ordered it.
Are you watching?
Only one and half hours left.
I have a small shop of my own, I bought stuff yesterday too on NSD ! - I must stop buying stuff - but pleased that I do use stuff that I buy, don't buy just to stroke.

I'm finishing daughter #2's B-card and trying to straighten up my craft room. All of a sudden I have a bunch of cards to make...2 Mother's Day Cards, another B-Card, a Thank you card and a sympathy card.
I need to get off here and get started.

I just checked out the website, Kissedby2. The tulip card is magnificent!
There's been a birth in the family. There are pictures, of course, so I'm planning to do an album. I've been excited about this one and can't wait to get started!
