My daughter is graduating from high school this year and I want to make her graduation announcements. Does anyone have any unique/unusual ideas they would care to share. I seem to have a mental block on this one. :o
I've always kept this idea handy to use. Take a sm. square of paper in the color of their school and back it with another square of black. Then use a small brad to hold a tassle you make out of floss from the center. Looks just like a graduation cap. You could put it on maybe near a poem or saying about graduating. Just an idea. Hope you get lots more. Oh, even a little rolled up piece of paper to look like a diploma might be cute too.

I think a photo of her in elementary school would be a great touch.

I made a bookatrix type thing for a birthday with my Cricut. You can make it in different colors and even add tassle or something. This one was made with lots of dazzles too.

I embossed a grad cap on the front of a card and gold embossed the word "Celebrate". On the inside of the card, on the left, we put the class motto. On the right is her picture.
Then, printrd on vellum, on the left, is Class of 200? and on the right is all of the info. We proudley announce the graduation of.......... from......... date, time, location, parents names. The vellum is held on with ribbon threaded through 2 holes at the top.
