I am cooking right now---well typing too! Have been working on my envelope tag books. I am working on 3 at one time! I am getting so confused....throw in some page kits to the mix= really confused!
I have some good news to report. My aunt, whom you have been praying for is feeling some better today. See prayers work miracles with the help of the LORD. She knew some people and even ate a little. Still are searching to find the cause of her illness--pray for that if you will.
What are you up to on this mid-week day?

I'm so glad your aunt is doing better!
I'm not feeling well. My little boy decided it was a mommy day and hung on to me all day too. I really want to make something- try my hand at something new, but then I'm so tired too!

I am getting ready to attend three full days of fun at the Mega Meet (http://www.megameet.com/). This will be my 5th year attending, and I just love it. I am taking 6 different classes this year:

Ambient album (https://megameet2.com/smm/scripts/section_help.asp?iniframe=Y§ion_id=1109)
Card for all seasons (https://megameet2.com/smm/scripts/section_help.asp?iniframe=Y§ion_id=1108)
Clearly fabulous (https://megameet2.com/smm/scripts/section_help.asp?iniframe=Y§ion_id=1080)
Sunshine of my life (https://megameet2.com/smm/scripts/section_help.asp?iniframe=Y§ion_id=1173)
I am sooooo excited! It was so hard to narrow my choice of classes down, but I'm quite happy with what I got. And then the shopping is unbelievable. :D

That is so wonderful to hear! Will keep her in my prayers still.

Heather you have a great time for all of us, will you?
You must report back to us about EVERYTHING! I want to know about ALL those classes. You lucky dog...
I use to go to scrapbook retreats and conventions but now none come anywhere close to where I live. My daughter and I used to go together and divide the expense---now she works and has lots of after school stuff with the kids so there is no time for scrap-anything.
Have a ball!

Spent the day taking my Mother to the Dr. She needed blood work and she drank some coffee with cream and sugar, so they couldn't do the blood work. Grrr, now I have to take her back tomorrow. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind taking her but I don't think they made it clear to her that she couldn't have anything but the blood work.
Mother said "I've always drank my coffee (with cream and sugar) before the other times I had blood work done". So that means we have not been getting good acturate reports.
I'm cleaning my craft studio tonight and then I have to make a couple of Mother's day cards, finish my youngest dauther's B-card and make my granddaughter's B-card. Oh yea, then I need to make a Praying for you Card for a dear friend that found out he has cancer and given 6 months to live.
Busy, busy, busy.

Heather - I am so excited for you going to the mega meet. Your classes are fabulous. LOVE Melissa Frances. I took one of her classes a few years back. LOVE LOVE LOVE her papers. I SO wish I could go with. Take good notes on the acrylic album - have wanted to do one of those - - but like everything else - how do I possibly find the time?
And Oldma - so good to hear your aunt is feeling better. There's power in prayer for sure!
I got absolutely NOTHING done tonight at all. It's Scrap night at my house with the girls - and I did nothing at all - EXCEPT - got to show my granddaughter (she's 4) how to "paint" with watercolor pencils and a blender brush ;) I'm really amazed - she soaks up things like a little sponge. LOVES to learn new things, and I think it's so good for her to be around a crafting environment like that. She'll pick it up for sure. ;) So I guess I did the most valuable thing of all this evening - some cuddle time, a little encouraging and sowing some seeds for her future. That's way better than cutting and glueing paper.
But I DO have a question ladies - - tonight was the first time I did the MCPT with an image that was stamped. I think I might be using the wrong kind of ink pad. What ink pad (and ink type, brand, etc) should I be using? Mine smudged and it actually picked up some unwanted color in spots, too. I was using a pigment ink on Bristol paper. NOT happy with the results. Thanks for any advice.

I'm not familiar with this technique, so I may be off here-- I'm sure there will be lots of people that will know for sure though. The best inks for coloring with anything, such as watercolor, etc is called Staz On. It does not smear, nor does it come off anything- so that being said, don't get it on your clothes :-)

so so glad for your aunt oldma ! brilliant news.
I've been working, and working very hard, I might add. It hasn't been so bad at work this week tho - as my coworker (whom is the nastiest of women) hasn't been in.....................so it's been a lot better.
I'm not at work tomorrow - well I am - does that make any sense whatsoever. I am an alternative health practitioner too (for my sins!) - :) and I have 3 treatments out tomorrow - but as I know these people, and love these people, it's more like meeting with old friends and chattering whilst I do their feet (reflexology).
Sooooooooooooooooo now going to walk the dog as the weather out there is beautiful at the moment 4.20 pm
