Hi All,

Any ideas for fun survival kits? I'd like to give my sister, mother-to-be, and her husband, father-to-be, each a survival kit. I appreciate your ideas.

MY survival kit would be pretty easy - a pad of paper, my cutter and a few rolls of dry adhesive would do the trick. My DH's would be a couch, Satellite TV and remote. Sorry - not much help there. And for the parents-to-be - A good set of ear plugs and a babysitter :D

Awwwww, new parents to be. Hmmmm.... A survival kit. Adult Advil (for their headaches), Scotch Nip bottles (to relax), Ear plugs (for the crying) LOL!!! Kidding.

What type of survival kit? Something to have for emergencies for the babies? If so, I would get some Pampers emergency diaper packs, they come with wipes and one to two diapers in them. A spare sippy cup, some band-aids, wet-ones, pacifer (if they plan on letting the baby try one), bib and burp cloth.

Hope some of this helps.

Thank you for the ideas so far - definitely the funny ones are what I'm looking for. How about ideas for a survival kit for the husband dealing with a 1st time pregnant wife (foot lotion to rub her tired feet...)

You guys are so creative!

What would you put in a survival kit for a retiree?

Mini snickers bar for when you need a laugh
Hershey's kiss for when you miss your co-workers
Band-aid for when you hurt yourself on all the home improvement projects you promised
to take on once you were retired
A mini-post it note pad to write things down so you don't forget them

In a survival kit for me, I'd like: hmmm, it would have to more like a survival ROOM!
