Hey guys,
Got my first new template. It's great along with the papers (green suede YAY!, , projects, etc.)
I do have one question for PW: On the projects page, there are two special template for purchase at a discount for TemplatePlus members. My questions: Aren't these going to be shipped out to members too? Or is the point to purchase them sooner at a discount?
Thanks!
Cathy

I was sure mine would be here today, but it wasn't. But I did get the Ultimate crafters companion I ordered, so I still have something new to play with. Can't wait to watch the dvd that came with it!

Cathy, I think those are an extra purchase for different shaped boxes. I saw the pcs but haven't read that part of the sheet yet. Was more interested in the boxes shown. They're going to be fun. Heather, you'll love that Ulitimate Crafters Companion. I have it & love using it. Its great having some thing that has so many uses. The DVD for it is really neat. Have fun. Judi

I didn't join the templates program, wish I had. I did join up the class-in-a-box program and it is terrific too! Will the basket template be available for purchase to anyone in the future? It looked so cute. TFS, Annette

Jodi, I bought mine online from Ritz Camera, and even with paying shipping it was $6 cheaper than what they had at Mega Meet. I'll post the link to it later if you want.

It's a British made product ! I had to laugh seeing Paulette's face when the owner of the company Sarah made a little video together with her. Sarah has a very deep Sunderland accent, so I could see Paulette struggling to understand her. :D Mind you I've been in Britain for nearly 20 years and even now some regional accents elude me ! :p

Hi Cathy! I'm so glad you like your kit...we've been really excited about developing this new program and I love the projects for this month!
To answer your question, the two special templates are not going to be shipped to members too--they're at a special offer for club members. The next kit is shown on page 2 of the newsletter and I could be a lot more specific if I had the newsletter in front of me! I hope this answers your question, and please feel free to email me at snaumann@hotp.com if you have others.
Sara
PS. Have a GREAT time with your new template!!!!

:(Wow Heather - I'm so jealous - I ordered mine (Crafters Companion) the same day you did, and mine won't be here until the 17th!

Really??? Mine shipped Friday and I got it Saturday. But it came from a warehouse right here in Michigan. That's odd... But then the two that got their PW template club packs are further away from Oregon and got the before I did, and I am a little closer. Go figure. At least mine is one the way.

I have the Crafter's Companion and LOVE it! It's indispensible if you're making cards. The learning curve is slight and the rewards are many!

Fab, If Sarah's the girl on the DVD, I have a bit of trouble understanding her but love her accent. I bet Paulette had trouble. Wish I could have seen her face. Judi

Yes, it's the same girl. You can watch the Webisodes and see. Her accent is so charming!

Got my three templates today from my QVC order, I'm going to make an envelope for the card I made yesterday and then try my hands at some cupcakes ! LOL All happy here ! :)
OK, I'm confused...I have "The Enveloper" and a "Scor-It" board...looks like what I DON'T have is the "Top Score" board, is that right???
Heather

Sam, I'm not sure of this, but Top Score and Score-it might be pretty close to each other, made by different companies? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
My templates are here today! Yay! Can't wait to play with it! :D

I had to laugh too Fab, Usually Sarah talks real fast and I have trouble understanding sometimes what she is saying, the video with Paulette she has slowed down considerably but when she gets excited about the product she starts talking real fast and Paulette looks puzzled.................Tee Hee.
By the way, I'm a Brummie - so I shouldn't really complain about accents, should I !
OK, explain what a "Brummie" is please!!!:)
And Heather - I guess you could do similar stuff with the Scor-It but it sure doesn't have all the premeasured lines and stuff the Top Score Sarah demonstrates on the webisode does...I'm thinking I NEED:p the Top Score!!

Glad some one else asked what a "Brummie" is. Now I don't feel so bad not knowing what it means. Judi
Well, I coudn't stand not knowing so looked it up (which guess I just should have done in the first place!):p
"Brummie (sometimes Brummy) is a colloquial term for the inhabitants, accent and dialect of Birmingham, England, as well as being a general adjective used to denote a connection with the city, locally called Brum. The terms are all derived from Brummagem or Bromwichham, historical variants or alternatives to 'Birmingham'."
Aside from that, I must confess that all this template conversation MADE me (my story and I'm sticking to it! ;)) go sign up for the template kits!!!!:D

So sorry I didn't see it ! I would have told you otherwise what Brummie is ! LOL Now shall I add that Cockney is what people from East London are called !
I've uploaded to my blog the basket I made using this month template plus! I used a brad on each corner as I feel it finishes the look off.

A very cute basket, Fab. I hope to do a wedding basket when I get home from the store this morning before it gets unbearably hot. I liked your blog also. Judi
Cute project - I agree, the brads set it off nicely. I wish my kit would get here!!!!
