Happy 4th of July!

I'm getting the family ready for our traditional July 4th picnic. I'd like to say Happy Birthday America! My wonderful country. Thank you to all the men and woman that serve our country, putting their lives on the line each day to keep me and my family safe, to keep our freedoms alive. They are away from their families and unfortunately some of the families may never see their loved ones again. Let them know that they will be forever remembered on this special and sacred day. For they are the reasons why my family and others are able to sit in their backyards eating hot dogs and hamburgers and playing with their families. Even though I have never met them, they will always hold a special place in my heart.

Happy 4th of July! Happy Birthday America!

Happy 4th of July to everyone! I know the men and women in our military are thankful for the love and support that is given to them. The families that they have to leave behind are also very grateful. One of our favorite holidays is the 4th. My husband is in the military, and I am so proud of what he and his fellow soldiers do for all of us. Thankfully he is home this year, but when he is deployed, hearing people say "Thanks" makes handling him being gone so much easier to deal with. I am so proud to be an American and a Soldier's wife!

I come from a Navy family and so very much appreciate all our service men and women do to keep us safe from harm. God bless them, their families and America. Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July!
