Sorry, but I'm a lark! So it's usually early to be for me! But if I ever am up and online I will look for you! (My Mom was a night owl) :p

Yes, but night for me isn't night for you!
Not sure how many hours ahead we are here, but I'm usually up until about 2am.

What are you working on now?

I finished my daughters birthday party album so next week will be starting a new 12x12 album.

I just did a layout out of my 13 year old stepdaughter, Sara, showing a pig when she was about 6 years old. It is so cute.

I am trying to decide what I am going to do. I need to finish my family heritage album. I stopped because I got bored of the same theme after 20 or so pages.

I have so many photos.

I told myself that I can jump around if need be....that way, I will not get bored too easily.

I'm definitely a night owl too but when I'm up until at times 5am, it will be midnight Eastern time in the US. :D

Just finished making a card for my weekly Christmas challenge and used those lovely HOTP Xmas brads.

I always tend to use a few lovely pads I purchased over the years and now I've nearly finished them. I might need to raid the cardmakers personal shoppers that are hidden under the bed ! :p

Here I am again. I have been able to complete 3 layouts since I last checked in here. I have been eyeing those brads...has anyone order the "damaged ones" before?

Hmmm... guess I've missed those. Where are they at? I'd like to check them out.

I don't know anything about the brads. I'm sorry. In answer to the first question, I'm up some nights-not because I go to bed late, but because I get up early. I'm online at all hours.

To answer your first question, sometimes I'm on late at night, which is an hour ahead (I am on Eastern time).

To answer about the factory-error brads, I am writing this post over again since my first one got lost in cyberspace. I take a long time to write a post and then when it's time to submit it, I find that am no longer logged in. (Any else have this problem?) After I log in again I can usually find what I've written again but that post somehow disappeared on me. :( Oh well, here it is again!

I haven't ordered the exact set you are considering (#4001673), but I have ordered two other sets of factory-error Brad Buddies from PW.

The first set is the 11 packs of Brad Buddies (66 Brad Buddies total): http://www.paperwishes.com/products/4001511. The set I received is like what is shown, although the themes may vary. I have looked them over and see very few minor imperfections. This, then, was an excellent deal!

The second set contains some embellishment packs from the earliest Finished in a Flash kits. I ordered this kit from the fall '08 PW catalog and it is no longer available, but I see a few of these packs are included in what you are considering. Each pack contains two Brad Buddies, 12 shaped brads (six each of two designs), 30 mini brads, 20 round brads, and a yard each of three grosgrain ribbons, so there's quite a bit included. I have used some of the brads and ribbons all ready. Several Brad Buddies in this set had places where the paint was missing. But, still a great deal for all I can use!

I haven't used any of the Brad Buddies from these sets yet. PW suggested that the imperfect Brad Buddies be sanded, which would knock off even more paint and give them a shabby chic look. I think they also suggested inking them, but you'd have to use a StazOn ink pad, due to the slick surface. I was also thinking of trying to fill in the missing paint with an appropriate marker (something for slick surfaces like a Sharpie or a Slick Writer), depending on the color of the paint and where it was located. I haven't tried any of these techniques on Brad Buddies yet, but I will let you know when I do.
