I want to make a scrapbook of items related to my husband's recent death. I am unale to find suitable paper.i plan on including pictures, cards, condolence letters, etc, Regular "male" themed paper is usually illustrated with fish, baseballs, autos and the like. I feel that because of the wars, some one, somewhere has designed papers for such books, If you know of any source for this type of paper, I appreciate you suggestions. Thank you

So sorry to hear of your recent loss. I'm wondering if some of these papers might be what you're looking for: Ephemera (http://www.paperwishes.com/products/7232980000), Heritage (http://www.paperwishes.com/products/4004147), or More Ephemera (http://www.paperwishes.com/products/7241060000) -- maybe even Kayla's Classic Color Blocking (http://www.paperwishes.com/products/PB7241070000) or Masculine Sarapapers (http://www.paperwishes.com/products/7241260000).

If you can't find anything from PW, you can go to scrapyourtrip.com and they have military papers. The left side of the site has their listings or you can do a search. Hope this helps!

Hi! So sorry to hear of your loss... I was at Wal-mart this weekend and they had some packs from Best Occasions called " Quick Page Pack" that were sorta like PW Finished in a Flash... the pages are 12 X 12 and all you need to do is place your photo and journaling and any embellishments that you would like to use. The one I got would be great for masculine use... It doesn't have a name but it has photos of the pages on the front cover so you can decide if it will work... It also has ideas for LO's on the back cover...
Good luck with your project and be sure and share with us some of your pages...
God bless
Nyoka

I am so sorry for your loss. That has got to be a very difficult project to do. I would think the Masculine papers would be a good choice. There are just patterns and you can embellish with whatever items to personalize the pages for the event. Best of luck with this. I hope that you share your album when you are finished.

Laura,
I am so sorry that you have suffered such a loss. You mentioned the wars that are going on in your post. If your husband was in the military, I have seen military themed albums, papers, and embellishements at Hobby Lobby and Michaels. I have read in several different scrapbooking articles that scrapbooking the loss of a loved one is healing. I pray that is so for you.

Laura. I am so sorry for your loss. May be you can call PW's customer service if you can't find any papers that you like in the stores. They're an awesome group & probably can figure some thing out. I was just going through my catalog & saw some Sarapapers that might work. Judi

So sorry for your loss Laura. I have some of the PW Heritage papers and I think they would be good for what you are looking for - more "respectful" paper, I can't think of another way to describe it.

Sorry for your loss. Scrapping may be the best therapy of all. Take a look at PWs "Use Em for Anything" Chocolate collection. I also agree with the Ephemera (I think one of those is in the Warehouse sale for another day.

I just stopped at Michael's Crafts to get some brads and they had some packets of paper and embellishments that may work for you. There were chipboard versions of old fashioned frames, vintage prints, etc.

I found a lot of military papers on Ebay. I am doing a scrapbook for Bob while he is based at Camp Taji in Iraq. He is not military but works with a government contractor so he has a lot of interaction with the military there. The papers and embellishments I found were perfect.

At one time HOTP had a book of military papers called, well, Military Papers. I wonder if you could find that on eBay as I think it's discontinued.
