Thank you Linda! I use prismacolor premiere pencils and gamsol to color my images, but you can use most anything really..whatever you feel comfortable with. You have copics, some folks even use sharpies, tombow markers..pretty much anything.
I don't have any problems with smearing...good printer I guess...I have a HP Photosmart 3210, but you can try experimenting first...I use Stampin Up whisper white cardstock to print my images, but I know others use Ga Pacific paper, I've used Paper Studio white cardstock as well. I can use my paper straight after printing, but if you find smearing, you can try letting it set for a few mins to be sure its dry, or you can take a heat embossing gun over the image a few times to be sure the inks dry.
