Default what happened to all of the challenges?

What happened to all of the challenges this month? I just began to enter some of them and they stopped being posted. I've been in a partial slump this month, until I started working on thefat pages mingle. They have inspired and excited me!

I'm doing the finals lists today, I just woke up as I had a terrible migraine all day Sunday, my mother on the phone crying her eyes out as she still mourning her sister passing away (my aunt), so I had a rotten Sunday and went to bed after a weekly radio show I like to listen to, thinking I would wake up in the middle of the night and work on the lists (as I usually do) but I woke up late today, didn't even hear Vince leaving to visit his family.

I know you're all keen but please bear with me, I ain't a swiss clock !

I've got a lovely cuppa of cha and I've started to pull the threads and see who's in. There are no swaps in December so the January swap calls will be published on the 15th of November.

My apologies for any inconvenience caused !

Fab, So sorry to hear about your migraine. That is no fun! Please don't feel pressured about the swaps. We all know and understand you've got a lot on your plate right now and are just grateful that you are doing what you can. We know you'll get to it!

I suspect that Mary Helen wasn't actually asking about the swaps, but rather the challenges that have sometimes been posted here -- like the "Pumpkin Pie Challenge" or the "B is for Button Challenge".

Mary Helen, I suspect that folks are getting snowed under with trying to get things done for the upcoming holidays and craft bazaars & such. My guess is that if we don't see any before then, we'll start seeing a bunch more challenges after the first of the year.

Fab! Please don't worry... It seems the board has been really slow for a while.... I am sending out thoughts and prayers for your Mom and the family... I know it's hard to lose a family member and try to go on as per normal... a time for grieving is needed...
Hope you feel better today!!
God bless

Oh, Fab. I'm so sorry you thought I was pushing you about the swaps. I'm always eager to see the assignments of the swaps each month, but I was actually asking about the challenges, as Cheryl stated. I certainly did not intend on putting more pressure on you. I know you're overwhelmed right now. I get that way myself and do understand, not to mention dealing with a death in the family. I was asking about the challenges, now that I've become brave enough to participate in a few. Sometimes I forget how time consuming life is to work fulltime and raise a family. I'm raising my grandsons, but am retired from working (outside my home).

I wasn't offended, Fab, just disturbed that I added more stress to you, even though it was unintended. I truly do understand. This time of year is tough on many of us who have lost loved ones. Please get some rest and try to find something or someone that/who will make you laugh with joy!

Also, I ditto the chocolate idea!

Thank you. Using a digital stamp is really a stretch for me. I do have the markers now and have tried coloring some of Angela's freebies (I've been collecting them and trying to build my courage), but haven't been happy with the results, yet. Do you have any tips concerning digital stamps? Yours always look great!

Hey, I just checked the web site-the request this week is a star theme. Maybe I can come up with something tomorrow! thanks again.
